She cocoons herself in blue. A memory of water … running to dive beneath turquoise seas; the soft sound of a raindrop running down a windowpane; the blur as time goes by like a photograph fading in the light.

A Faifo Glimpse
Each step forward is a step into history. She wanders down an alley where her grandmother might have paused for a moment to lean against a peeling yellow wall. She bathes in the colors and culture of the old town – saffron, ruby, turquoise … each place a part of the story from maritime moments, to family heritage. She is part of the mosaic of colors as well. Her indigo scarf tying her to the culture and brightening her spirits like a breath of air from the sea.
